Refunds and Returns Policy

Return of Goods

If, in exercise of its discretion Kyalami Motorsport agree at the request of the customer, to accept the return of any goods for credit, which goods were correctly supplied by us and are not faulty or subject to any claim, then we at Kyalami Motorsport PTY LTD shall be entitled without any necessity of any further agreement to claim from the customer a handling fee of 20% (twenty percent) of the invoice price of the goods returned.

Returnable Crates and conditions

It is recorded that all crates and containers in which the goods are supplied by Kyalami Motorsport to the customer shall remain, at all times the property of Kyalami Motorsport and are never sold. Notwithstanding the claiming by Kyalami Motorsport of the deposit in respect of such crates or containers or the payment thereof by the customer, ownership of such crates or containers shall pass from Kyalami Motorsport to the customer.

The customer shall be obliged , at its own expense, to return to Kyalami Motorsport all crates and containers in which goods are supplied to it and, if not so returned within a reasonable time and in good standing and condition, Kyalami Motorsport shall be entitled to a claim to forfeit some funds which will be made a deposit held in respect of such crates or containers without prejudice to its right to claim from the customer any other damages it may have suffered as a result of such misuses.

The customer is expressly prohibited from using any such crates and containers for purpose other than the storing and transport of the products sold by Kyalami Motorsport. In the event of the customer using or permitting any such crates or containers to be used for any other purpose other than the storing and transport of products sold by Kyalami Motorsport.

Non Alteration
No variation, alteration or consensual cancellation of any of these terms and conditions shall be of any force or effect, unless in writing and signed by the parties hereto.

No waiver or abandonment by Kyalami Motorsport of any of its right in terms of these terms and conditions shall be binding on it, unless such waiver or abandonment’s is in writing and signed by Kyalami Motorsport..

No indulgence, extension of time, relaxation or latitude which Kyalami Motorsport may show grant or allow to the customer, shall constitute a waiver by it of its rights and Kyalami Motorsport shall not thereby be prejudiced or stopped from exercising any of its rights against the customer which may have arisen in the past or which might arise in the future.

The provisions hereof shall prevail over any terms and conditions which the customer may purport to impose or apply and which are contrary to the terms thereof

  • Parts must be returned with the original purchase invoice and packaging in a resalable condition.
  • Unwanted, unused parts may incur a handling fee if returned and cannot be returned after 14 days from date of system invoicing.
  • Defaced parts or those without original packaging will not be accepted for return.
  • Special orders cannot be returned.
  • Electrical parts are non returnable and non refundable.
  • Parts have a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects and claims must be processed within 14 working days.
  • Claims require completion of a claim form and correct application information.
  • A technical report will accompany unapproved claims.
  • A specialist report can be obtained if a local report is rejected by the customer, which may incur additional costs.
  • Failed parts will not be replaced immediately and must be approved by a Kyalami Motorsport Manager.
  • Terms and Conditions of the sale should be read in conjunction with Section 49(4) of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Our return policy lasts 14 days from the date of system invoicing. If more than 14 days have gone by since your order was delivered, unfortunately, we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Consumable goods, such as oils; additives; ecu software and electronics and other consumable items cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require an invoice number or proof of purchase and the products original undamaged packaging.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or authorized distributor.

Please note that if your item has been opened; is not in its original packaging; has content missing/damaged; we reserve the right to deny a refund on that product (in extreme cases) or charge a handling fee up to 20% (determined upon inspection of product) at our discretion.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Items that have been purchased on sale and deemed fit to be refunded, will be refunded on the sale price of the said item and not the current market price.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@kyalamimotorsportco.za

You can lodge a return via the “Refund / Warranty Request” page 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item should you need to return it after 3 months from the date of purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

To return your product, you should courier your product to the address as stipulated in the email received by our support team.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over R1000, you should consider using a traceable courier service or purchasing courier insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and cannot be held liable for lost parcels from third party courier services.
